Ingredients
- 1 lb spaghetti
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium yellow onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (32 oz) jar meatless spaghetti sauce
- ½ teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 eggs
- ⅓ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 5 tablespoons butter, melted and slightly cooled
- 16 ounces whole milk ricotta cheese
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Cook the spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Meanwhile, cook the beef, onion, and garlic in a large skillet over medium-high heat until the meat is no longer pink. Drain. Stir in the spaghetti sauce, seasoned salt, and Italian seasoning.
- In a large bowl, whisk the eggs, Parmesan, and melted butter. Drain the noodles and let them cool slightly, then toss with the egg mixture.
- Put half the spaghetti in a greased 9×13 baking dish. Top with half the ricotta, half the meat sauce, and half the mozzarella. Repeat the layers.
- Cover and bake at 350°F for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake 10 minutes more, until the cheese is melted.
